We are seeking applications from candidates for the role of QA/Test Engineer within the Mobile Engineering team, targeted towards mobile applications.

The position, part of a small, self-motivated team, is responsible for the creation of software and audio test plans, software analysis and specification, the running and maintenance of automated testing, and approval testing and customer support of products.

Specifically, key requirements & attributes for the successful applicant include:

• 3+ years in a software development role;
• previous software testing or IT development/analytical experience;
• knowledge of digital audio processing functions;
• scripting (PEARL, BASH, DOS etc) for creating automated testing;
• simple C programming for building test harnesses;
• 3+ years music/audio experience;
• knowledge of defect tracking systems and structured testing methodologies;
• the ability to clearly analyze and document the exact scenarios that cause software issues;
• experience in the use of Microsoft Windows XP and all Microsoft Office applications; and
• the ability to work unsupervised to action all required software testing.

Further, a logical, organized and systematic approach is essential, with knowledge and passion for audio technology required.
