Software Engineer

The company is currently undergoing a dynamic period of growth, and we are seeking applications from outstanding candidates for the role of Software Engineer within the Interactive Voice Group.
The position will be part of a small, dynamic team responsible for the design and implementation of digital entertainment technologies, and requires an individual with a high level of motivation and initiative.
Specifically, this position’s responsibilities will include development of new features for the Dolby Axon voice communication product for computer games
Key requirements & attributes for the successful applicant include:
• 3+ years experience with programming in C/C++;
• Object oriented software design skills;
• 2+ years experience with Linux
• An understanding of current networking protocols;
• Deep understanding of software development;
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team;
• The ability to work unsupervised when required; and
• A logical, organized, systematic and thorough approach.
Further, first class honors in either a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree with a software focus is required, while a demonstrated knowledge and passion for audio technology and computer games is desirable. Experience with programming on the Playstation 3 platform is highly desirable.
