The company is currently undergoing a dynamic period of growth, and we are seeking applications from outstanding candidates for DSP Design Engineer roles within the successful and expanding Advanced Development, Audio and Mobile engineering teams.

The positions are responsible for the design and implementation of digital entertainment technologies, and require individuals with high levels of motivation and initiative.

The audio team position involves the implementation of audio technologies, while the mobile team position involves the implementation of audio and video technologies related to Mobile applications. In all instances, a passion for audio and/or music is essential.

Key requirements & attributes across all roles include:
• 3+ years experience with programming in C/C++;
• 2+ years experience in embedded systems, real time operating systems, or DSP assembly language;
• Experience with Matlab;
• A thorough understanding of signal processing or processor architecture;
• Object oriented software design skills;
• Knowledge of audio and video coders: Dolby Digital, AAC, MP3, MPEG-2 audio, MPEG-4/H.264 video;
• Critical listening skills and/or audio/music related experience;
• An understanding of current networking protocols;
• Deep understanding of software development;
• The ability to work unsupervised when required; and
• A logical, organized, systematic and thorough approach.

Further, a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required, while Advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) are favourably considered.
